Robinson came back from behind twice to grab a draw in a tight but good spirited encounter.
Robinson made a decent start in the first frame to take a 25 point lead. Some solid potting combined with uncharacteristically cautious safety from Norton though was enough to pull back and clinch the frame.
Robinson responded with a series of excellent long pots in the second and would have made a high break but for some careless positional play. However, Norton failed to take a couple of good opportunities too and Robinson mopped up the colours to take the frame 2.
Both players again potted some great long balls but missed out on scoring heavily with careless easier shots. Norton was a little stronger all round in the third frame though and battled into a 2-1 lead.
The final frame was very scrappy but Robinson fluked the brown then held his nerve to take the blue and pink to earn a second draw in division 3.
