Title: Singles League: Nav Hussain 2-2 Jamie Moore
Post by: Nav Hussain on 07 January 2010
Highest Break 38 by Nav
Venue : Pegasus Snooker Club

Frame 1:
Both players wanting to win and therefore very nervous and showed in Frame 1, nav making a 30 odd break to go ahead, jamie comes back with a few decent breaks but requires snookers on the colours.
Nav 1 - 0 Jamie

Frame 2:
Jamie hitting a 27 break followed by a few more 20' breaks, took the frame comfortably.
Nav 1 -1 Jamie

Frame 3:
38 Break from Nav at the start of frame, jamie hit a 20 break but make some mistakes which handed Nav the frame
Nav 2 - 1 Jamie

Frame 4:
Jamie does an excellent break off which forces Nav into a long pot, which he missed. Jamie then goes onto make a 30 odd break and then a fewmore mistakes from Nav allows Jamie to go 50 points ahead. Nav had a chance the clear up but missed the opening red and then frame was really over.

Had problems with the booking system at Pegasus. Booked table 2 for the match only to find out someone else was using the table and had to use a table that i never played on. Felt like an away game, but it happens. Could have done with a win to put pressure on the rest of the players. We have now reached half way stage, so still a long way to go yet.

Don't get me started on the stupid booking system at Pegasus....it's a joke.

Officially you are only allowed to book tables down the left...the odd numbered tables for 2 hours (7pm-9pm & 9pm-11pm)

The problem with this is they're always booked by the same people through-out the year and sometimes they turn up and sometimes they don't. That's why it's always packed down the right hand side whilst the club throw money away on the left.

There is no booking available officially down the right hand side but if you contact Chris Brooks he will try to reserve table 2 for you for a league or cup match. (doesn't always work as i was supposed to have table 2 the other night but there was somebody already playing on it so ended up on 5!!!)

The other thing I would mention is that Tuesday & Thursday are the clubs busy nights so you will have much more choice on a Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun so try to arrange matches for those nights.  There is also a rule where non members must come off after 2 hours if there is a cue for tables and members must be allowed on before non-members when waiting for a table.

LOL, Mike i did ring twice and then book table number 2 with Mr Brooks. When i was at the club last night i went on table 3 for a practice and was waiting for the lads on table 2 to finish their game. Around 7pm chris had already left the club but i wasent too fussed as i asked another guy working there if table 2 was booked for me, which he replied "yes".

When it hit 7pm and Jamie Moore had arrived, the guys on Table 2 start to rack up another game. I did say to them it was booked for 7pm, which they said no ones told them about it and that they wont go off the table. Chris had left from work by then, i asked another guy and he said there was no booking made at all !! Whats the world coming to, only tried to book a snooker table

The Bci has a good booking system lads!!!  ;)

You can always book the match table for all your matches

Very frustrating not to be able to get the table of your choice!

You loose your home advantage!!!

A 2-2 draw is always a good result especially for the away player!!! Two Top players Hurricane Hussain V's the Legendary James Moore! Should be an absolute cracker in the return leg at the Bci snooker centre!

Yep Kwok, looking forward to the game at BCI when i play against J Moore. Was not happy yesterday as i was at no advantage playing at home and also table 2 is always booked by the Force (he should have been a Pro with that table being booked all the time).

Now i have to win most of my games and defend the crown at any cost.
