Cotgrave Welfare cemented their place in the division two play-offs with a 5-3 victory over bottom of the league Lenton Liberal Club.

At Cotgrave Rob Briody lost to Jim Wright and Chris King was beaten by Roy Hamlin.  Billy Johnson was the star for Cotgrave as he made a terrific 40 break to defeat Trevor Clarke.  Johnson then partnered Briody to victory in the pairs to level the match at 2-2.

At Lenton Steve Evans beat Matt Savage, John Cyrek beat Adam Goodall and Colin Armstrong beat Daz Hewitt.  Cyrek and Evans lost in the pairs.

Not that it matters but John beat me, and Colin beat Daz.
