Steven Roe

Mr Roe travelled away to his home table to meet his fellow Oakleigh Lodge team mate, both player's struggled to find any form in a close defensive battle again with few chances. The match through out was like a pendulum swinging back and forth, Robinson won the first 47 -44. Some excellent long potting from Adam in the second gave him the early lead only to be foiled by his positional play leaving no shot on the colours. This then left Steven some conventional pots to claw ahead to take the second frame 38 - 54. Small breaks were the norm in frame three 16 & 12 for Steven and Adam 13 & 13 the frame going to the visitor after 3 consecutive fouls by the home player score 23 - 48. Last frame both players trying hard to create a run of consistency lead to few chances with Adam taking the frame on the black ball, score 45 - 37.

FINAL SCORE :- ADAM ROBINSON 2 - STEVEN ROE 2

A fair result with which could have gone either way both players happy with a point apiece.

yep well played Steve...always nice to get that first point out of the way.  thats 3 draws so far this week with just Jordan and Daniel's match to be played.  I think we have a very competitive 2nd division this year.

keep it going

You're right about the competitiveness Mike.  Lots of draws and only one whitewash so far.

More great potting from Adam I notice.  If you could improve your breakbuilding...

Well played both players  :bravo:
