A good win for me last night against Sean giving away a 14 point start it was'nt the best of matches from both of us but i managed to get going in the second and third frame with breaks of 20+ and 30+ by the looks of it i need to be putting some solid practice in if i'm going to maintain a good average again this season.

final score winning 3-1

Another important win for me last night against Jamie Sampson winning by 3 frames to 1.
First frame Jamie was potting balls for fun i never got a look in till near the end of the frame where i needed all the colours to win unlucky for me i snatched on the brown and it cost me the frame.

Second frame Jamie started very well again, but i managed to peg him back and ended up pinching the frame.
Third frame i started to get my cue arm going and finished the frame out with a 36 break.

Fourth frame Jamie was feeling the pressure and started to miss some important balls which i made the most of with a 38 break it should have been a lot more if i had'nt mis-cued on the black on its spot with 4 reds in the open.

Unlucky Jamie still a long way to go.

Good win for me again last night against Sean hopkin winning 4 - 0.
Sean missed some important shots which i made the most of with breaks in the match of 27, 35, 39.
Also may i add i had a little bit of luck in the match with the run of the balls.

Hard luck Sean still a long way to go mate i'm sure you will turn yourself around after this result.

Not the best result last night for me taking my foot off the gas at 2 nil up and Nick getting very frustrated with he's game neither one of us really got going in the match all though i started well that might have been my downfall i prefer to play my way into a match normally.

But taking nothing away from Nick i played a retaining safety shot in the last frame and he was very brave to take on a very tricky red along the back cushion which he got and made a very good 44 break which should have been a 66 clearance if he had'nt dropped short for the brown.

On reflection of the match i think i let this one slip from my grasp.

Ps on a positive note i didn't lose the match i suppose, nice to have played you Nick look forward to episode 2 at mind.

Match result from last night at Pegasus finished in a draw against Mike got myself 2 frames in front once again without playing very well and in the end i got pegged back by Mike.Frame 1 i did enough to with the frame without making any big breaks.Frame 2 it looked like Mike had the frame in the bag but i pinched it on the colours.Frame 3 looked like it was going my way also but i was unlucky to go in off when potting the yellow with check-side and Mike won the frame.Frame 4 was nip and tuck and then Mike managed to get he's nose in front by 20+points with a bit of lucky Langdon magic if you don't mind me saying Mike, but i somehow i clawed my way back into the frame and thought i had the match in my grasp when down on a long blue on its spot when i hit it in was in all the way Mike thought so also but somehow it rattled in the jaws and left Mike on to pot blue and pink which was enough for him.I had a feeling in the beginning it was going to be a tricky fixture and it turned out that way with plenty of safety play and very tactical and me laying 4 or 5 snookers on Mike on the trott which he did very well to escape from.

Thanks for the match Mike, i might have to try and lose my first frame in my coming matches and it might spark me into life Lol.

Regards
Ant...............

Yep reckon that pretty much sums the match up. Very tactical encounter with some brilliant snookers laid (mainly by you) and some excellent escapes (mainly by me). Don't think I've played in a match where the miss rule has come into play so much. You were desperately unlucky to go in-off in the 3rd frame which would have saw you bag the points. Really pleased to clear from yellow to pink to give myself a lifeline and go on to draw the match with a good run of balls in the final frame.

It's very tight at the bottom so it's vital to scrap for every point.

Great to play you Ant, all the best for the rest of the season in your hunt for promotion.
