Jon wins a frame with a difference at Ruddington Conservative Club
The 40th frame on the Tour was played on Ruddington Conservative Club’s 8 foot snooker table. This is the only venue the boys have visited so far that features a table smaller than full size, so they could not resist playing on it.
It was a very tight frame which went right down to the black. Steve had his chances but after leaving the black over the pocket Jon stepped up and potted it to level the tour at 20 frames each.
It was an enjoyable evening during which two club members challenged the lads to a few frames of doubles. Club members also donated £15 to the Tour funds which is much appreciated. Jon and Steve are already looking forward to their next visit!
