Crunch tie coming up next

The Home League has developed into a two horse race over the last few weeks and after seven rounds of matches, Keith Holgate is sitting two points clear of Wayne Martin, who has a game in hand.

Next up though comes a crucial match between the two leaders which will be played at Wayne’s house. Wayne won the reverse fixture 3-0 and so he will head into the tie a strong favourite, however Keith is currently in a good run of form. It will certainly be a fascinating match and if Keith can emerge victorious, he will be hard to catch.

A straightforward win for Keith with no breaks of any note.

Keith Holgate 3-1 Dave Jobling

A high quality encounter saw Dave making a couple of 30+ breaks and Keith firing in a terrific 82 break.

Steve Butler 3-0 Steve Whitt

Butler won the first frame fairly easily with the help of a 38 break. Whitt fought hard and came close to winning the second and third frames but Butler scored well at the end of both frames to pinch them.
