A change of venue for the Arnold Aces lads I thought we was playing at wimboldon with a very heavy grass surface!
Match No1 Jon Paul 1 V's Jonathan 8pint Mason 1
it was Jon Paul getting off to a cracking start following up with some good safty, however it was 8pints who was still sober converting some good long pots to clear up with a break of 26 with a long black to steal and register the first frame for the Giants aginst the run of play! Frame 2 was more open both players having chances 8 pints with a slight lead but it was the great skill of Jon Paul who takes the second frame for the aces!
Match No.2 James Booth 1 V's Neil
an explosive match with plenty of fireworks in line with these two attacking players! It was Neil who got off to a better start opening up a good lead James coming back well with some great potting Neil just needing the Brown for game ball misses and it was James booth with the great finishing to take the first frame! Frame two James getting off to the better start but it was the electrician sparking with some fantastic potting to take the second frame for the Giants!
Match No.3 Cpt James V's Cpt Kwoky
with the match all square and all to play for it was Cpt Kwok getting off to a great start with some clean crisp long potting James coming back into the game well with some good potting of his own making a match of it, Kwok pulling away with a good lead only to miss a "Dolly" blue to the middle for more or less frame to leave James to clear up to take the opening frame. Frame 2 Cpt Kwok very quick off the mark again with some great potting opening another good lead, James responding with some great pots setting himself up with another chance to take the second frame missing a brown to clear up and beat the 26break from Jonathan in the first match. It was Cpt Kwok firing in the brown for game to take the final frame on centre court!
The final score on centre court Arnold Aces 3, BCI Giants 4! With Jonathan with the winning break. A fair result to a match that could of gone any way frames won and lost against the run of play, well done lads taking the Giants Av back to 3pts per match!
