Stadium got off to a flying start with Pete Gormley taking the first frame and securing the high break of 22 against Jamie Cunningham but Jamie got his own back with some good safety to take the 2nd.
Dave Buckley also started well snatching the 1st against Shaun Harlow then taking the 2nd with a comfortable margin.
Ross Wilkin made some good pots and made sure of his colours to stretch out a healthy lead and win the 1st frame but his opponent Lee Harlow took the 2nd with an excellent string of doubles on the colours after a very low scoring game.
