Title: Pegasus Predators 6-1 Arnold Aces (14/07/09)
Post by: Mike Langdon on 15 July 2009
Pegasus Predators    6      Arnold Aces      1

Pegasus Predators moved to the top of the Nottingham 6 Red Super League after a fine 6-1 victory in the local derby against the Arnold Aces.  To be fair to the Aces the scoreline somewhat flattered the home team, with a couple of frames which could have gone either way.  Danny Castel-Nuovo picked up a maximum 3 points in his 2-0 win over James Notman which included the highest break of the night, a moderate 27.  John Fountain managed to pick up the Aces solitary point of the evening by drawing with Zeb Ahmed.  In the final match Nav Hussain struggled over the line against the Aces James Booth who endured some rotten luck by firstly going in-off on the pink and then leaving the same ball hanging over the middle pocket a few shots later for Hussain to wrap up a two nil win.

Danny Castel-Nuovo (27)  2-0    James Notman
Zeb Ahmed    1-1   John Fountain
Nav Hussain    2-0   James Booth

That's an excellent win Mike that moves your team 4 points clear of Beeston Titans at the top of the table.  Well done!

:bravo:
