Match No.1 Jonathan 8Pints V's Tom Walters
It was the Giant Man 8 Pints getting off to a flying start making the most of his chances in which he didn't have in his earlyer match from the "magic of Martin" Jonathan still sober Mason Potting very well opening up a good healthy lead against a very dangerous Tom. A mid frame miss gave Tom a chance which he took potting some great balls to reduce the scores. the conclusion of the frame with Jon Lucky Mason stunning the white on the cush sending the Blue ball away to safety only to find the middle pocket to take frame Number one. Frame 2 Both players potting well in this second frame with more chances for both players Tom with a good break of 25 to open a slight lead, but it was the mighty Mason powering back with a 20 break missing the final pink and black for a 33. The conlusion to the frame was with Tom miss cuing a long black with the white on the cush and gifting Jon the Frame!
Match No.2 Kwok V's Johnny Kareer
It was the Vikings man Johnny potting some good openers in this first frame, but it was the experienced cpt Kwok coming back strong and take the lead with some great cagey match play dominating and taking the opening frame. Frame 2, Kwok getting off to a good start opening up a lead with some more cagey play which awarded him a fantastic chance with a good lead with the balls in prime position Only to feather the cue ball to gift the great chance to the Vikings man who made a good 26 break against him. a few missed chances after but it was the Vikings man taking the second frame making it 1-1!
Match No.3 Neil V's Shane Kidd
It was a even battle in this opening frame both players having some good chances, but it was Shane with some Key pots to take the opening frame. Frame number 2, with the match poised at 3-2 to the Giants, with all still to play for. It was the Giant Man Neil getting off to a good start, Shane coming back well making it a close battle on the final colours having a slight run of the colours eventually dropping in the final cracking game ball black to win 2-0!
Final score on the night Giants 3, Vikings 4!
