Sherwood Social Club victorious in the Plate final
Sherwood Social Club beat West Bridgford RBL by 63 points to lift the Plate trophy on Tuesday 17 April.
A good 34 point victory by M Hewitt in the 7th frame ensured that Sherwood went into the final frame with just a 25 point lead. However, W Bilbie and A Scarborough were too strong for D Martin and C Atkinson and the Bridgford pair conceded when 38 points behind with just 18 on the table. Full scores as follows:
