Title: Cotgrave 4-4 Arnold 'B' (29/09/09)
Post by: Alan Cunningham on 30 September 2009
At Cotgrave   (3-1 Cotgrave)
Fr 1  Harry BROIDY   53  v  A.C.  31. - A.C's white seemed to have a magnet attached to it drawing it into the pockets.
Fr 2  Billy Johnson  69  v  Andy NICOLS 21.  - Andy miscued from break and hit the pink, taking a chunk out of his tip, never recovered.
Fr 3  Colin MARSHALL 61  v  Pete ELLINS 34 - Old war-horse C.M. too much experience for P.E.
Fr 4  Phil Foster & B JOHNSON  28  v  A.C. & A.N. -  The Cotgrave pair needed 1 snooker with the pink and black on, but Billy double kissed it into the corner.

At Arnold       (3-1 Arnold)
Fr 1  Brian KINTON  61  v  Chris KING  35  -  B.K. substituting due to Arnolds lack of players too strong for C.K.
Fr 2  Sean KELLY  57  v  John CYREK  37  -  Evenly match frame, edged by S.K.
Fr 3  Graham MALTBY  v  Billy CAMPBELL  -  Arnolds away leg arrive back 1-3 down but 3-3 on night. Both players chasing the black, B.C. flukes it in the centre off about 5 cushions
Fr 4  S.K. & G.M.  50  v  J.C. &  B.C.  30  -  Cotgrave want 1 snooker with pink and black on. B.C. goes in-off in the corner trying to keep it out.

An even result on the night. As ever, a good rapport with the Cotgrave 'lads'
