A landslide victory for BCI Super Elites against the defending KO Cup champions Beeston Snooker Hall.
The final pairs frame wasn't played because Beeston were 274 points behind.
A lot of credit to Captain Kwok who captained his team, dropped himself and refereed 3 frames. Now that's what you call an unselfish captain!

Cheers Steve, you've summed it up perfectly in a nutshell! Cpt Kwok was recovering from cold/flu so with the greatest of respect for the Beeston team, though I was seriously itching to play it was in the best interest of Bci and my team to play the best available selection available on the night!

Table 1, frame No.1! What a mouth watering opening frame against these two awsome players! Both players cuing well Bci I star man Jason pulling away with a great 20+ break before Jason finally clearing the colours with a fantastic 27 break to see of the Beeston danger man Tom walter to put the Elites ahead in frame one!
1) Keith Holgate 92 V Andy Spicer 26

2) Neil Elliott 42 v Neil Jones 72
Table 1, frame No.2! Welcome Beestons Neil Jones into the action, a much needed frame to restore confidence among the Beeston Team! Neil Jones did just that getting off to a great start against this seasons most consistent player Neil Elliott. Neil Jones pulling away with some great potting to open a good early lead, Neil Elliott managed to spark back into action with a very good spirited comback to reduce the damage. But it was Beestons Neil Jones pulling his team back into the race with a great win!

After a early re-rack it was Bci Super Elites Legend James Moore dominating this second frame with a superb 38break to open his account followed by some great awsome dominating match play with further great 24break to rack up the impressive win over a talented Beestons Clint who did not have a good run of balls! However Johnny managed to break free towards the end to just get the better of Tony to pull another frame back gor the Beeston Team!

This Big win was enougth to give the Bci Super Elites victory! Well Done Lads!!!

Congratulations Elites :bravo: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:
You deserve to win the trophy! You have been the best team throughout the competition and were rock solid again in the final.
:welldone: :welldone: :welldone: :welldone: :welldone: :welldone:
Well done Kwok, congratulations on winning the KO cup.
It was a shame the match was'nt a lot closer it would have been good for the cameras.
Like i said to Jason Bettridge you probably can afford to get battered in 1 frame, but 2 you are playing catchup even more so against your lot.I've got to avoid playing 8 pints in the future he always seems to have the run of the balls against me every time we play each other.
Taking nothing away from you apart from the run of the balls in some of the frames which can happen, overall B.C.I deserve to win.
regards
Ant............ :welldone: :bravo:
The Double?
I've just had a look at the Virtual Trophy Cabinet (http://nhsl.net/vtc/vtc.htm) and surprisingly no team has done the double (League & KO Cup) for a heck of a long time. From the records we have, First Frame (now Rileys) were the last team to do it in 1987.
It's fair to say that BCI Super Elites will do the double this season. They could even do the treble if they win the Division 1 Cup!
Hi, Steve
On what i have seen last nite i would not bet against it.
Regards
Ant............
Cheers Guys ;)
Ant - Yes i totally agree, a fantastic final that was cut short! Obviously i'm delighted we Won! But i have to agree i was expecting a much closer contest with two such great teams. Obviously like you mentioned two Big wins or losses for or against either way can do serious damage with this Ko cup format! Thats why the new individual format was liked by many as a bad frame wouldn't be critically game over! This Ko Cup is great though, as Big losses needed to be matched by Big wins to ballence things out!
"8 Pints" Well what can i say....! He's our Mystery package!!! Answers on a post card........!!!
Ruthless springs to mind "The Captains gamble" and it has paid off Phew!!!!
He can seriously be a handful, and with the run of balls God help you!!!
I do think it's true fortune favours the brave at times, because you tend to get the cannons kisses and the slight run of balls more at times and things seem to go pear shaped otherwise. On reflection of the final, i think we got off to a strong and positive start, which was my plan! Just like you require in a successful relay race! Very important to get off to a good positive start, srong performance in the core and a powerful finish at the end! I'm delighted to have won but kind'a was looking forward to see my Ultimate Power pairing performance at the very end! "Killer Keith & Menacing Moore" produce the awsome Quality pressure snooker they are well known for! It would have been a quality macth for the forum! Our Bci Super Elites 100% Pairs partnership, a fantastic partnership solid as a rock would be the ultimate test for any pairs match!
Steve - That would be amazing matey ;)
I had a look at the Nhsl virtual trophy cabinet, looks very impressive matey!
Arnolds CD's record in the Nhsl is amazing!!! My hats off to them!!!
I'd love to create history for Bci Snooker Club with my Super Elites team so fingers crossed ;)
We have had our 17th match unbeaten Nhsl cup and league run, which is amazing considering the quality of ths tough league!
As the Great Nav Hurricane Hussain said, lets see if you guys can do what Arsenal did in the premier league and go Un-beaten all season!
That'll be a total of 22 matches un-beaten to win the amazing treble!!!
Wow, that will be an awsome achievement!!!
One Frame at a time! One match at a time!! Thats how history is made, Fingers crossed ;)
WOW WOW WOW :welldone: E'LITES :england: :england: :england:
YOU PUT BCI ON THE MAP BOYZ.
:bravo:
Sean Croft
Cheers Sean! ;)
:england: Cpt Kwok & Team Super Elites Proudly Flying The Flag For The Bci Snooker Centre! :england:
Hi Kwok,
Thats a good way looking at it i suppose (strong relay race) so in our case someone must have nicked our starting blocks. lol
Ps, Kwok are you looking to strengthen your squad for next season on MONDAY'S night institute league, if so i mite be available.
Regards
Ant..............
Don't you think that Kwok's team is strong enough already? Why not form your own team Ant and join in the fun.
Hi Ant, Just as i thought! The secretary Mr Bob Wright wouldn't be happy matey Lol! The Bci Snooker Centre have enjoyed some Cracking results of late!! Winners of the great all New Super 6 Reds league in both divisions, Treble Gold Winners of the Bdsl, League, Cup & Divison Cup! Currently League leaders by an impressively 10pts of the Nnia league Division 1 and have made it to another Ko Cup final, Newly Crowned Champions of the Nhsl Ko Cup with the league and maybe the Division cup will put the icing on the cake Not to mention the domination of Billiards!
I think thats what Mr Bob Wright means, he'd like to see new teams forming and challenging from other club! I must say the Bdsl league and the Nnia league are both top draw and i would seriously recommend any new teams to join! These two great leagues also has individual and pairs comps just like in the Nhsl too! It'll be great to see a Beeston, Pegasus, Arnold Cd, Nottingham Uni, Stadium teams join! It could be one of the reason along with the many Just Why Bci Super Elites are doing so well, warmed up from the monday nights league ready for action in the Nhsl league on tuesdays....?
It's been overwhelming the number of players Not any Random players, But number of Good Quality players like yourself wanting to join the Bci Super Elites! Unless of any departures to the Winning team, Priorities for places has to be given to the current existing winning team. Unless the team really takes off and as Mr Mike Langdon Suggestion of the expanding of the team to a Bci Ultra Elites too you never know! The Bci Snooker Centre has always put in a great number of teams into all the leagues and are always like any club looking for new members. We have a lot of good quality prestigious in house comps that you can enter for free as a member to try and get your name on the Bci hall of fame! Serious quality comps are under way and already the Legend James Moore has already fired in a fantastic 107 Clearance break and we are only in round one of the competitions!
Enough of the promoting Leagues and Clubs! Any One would think i get paid for it Lol! I'll let you know if there are any vacancies or changes within the club.
Regards Cpt Kwok :smokey:

Is that the "Right" answer Mr Secretary Bob "Wright!" ;)
Just call me head of promotions on top of everthing else Lol
I suppose as an idea, we could seriously extend and expand to form another winning great strength team with all these great players! As Mike Langdon kind'a suggested in an earlyer post we could now be known as the Ultra Elites after our recent winning success and develop a new Super Elites Team to also challenge for the Top Spots too!
You never know Bob ;)
Yes Kwok that is the right answer! Mr "Head of promotions". It would be good to get some more quality teams like you say, although we already have many quality teams in the leagues. It's not all about quality teams though. Teams enter for the love of the game, That's what it's all about. It's nice to win something for your efforts though.Looking forward to our meeting in the K/O cup final.
Yes Bob! Looking forward to another great final should be another Cracker of a match! A fine example of the quality we have in the Nnia league along with many other great tough teams may I add! It'll be great to add additional teams to the league so we have more variety of players, teams and venues to experience playing at, making the already Great successful league into an even better one!!!
Hi Kwok,
Thanks for the feedback, i understand where you and BOB are coming from i had suggested to some of the Beeston lads about maybe forming a team on Monday's but i think most of them have committments elsewere.Apologies regarding the previous e-mail i sent you it was worded wrong what i tried to mention was if you needed anyone to cover in someone absence i could be available matey.
Ps Kwok, how did that money match finish against Keith and Jamie last week.
Regards
Ant......................
Hi Ant,
No problem Matey! Thanks for the offer it's great to know such quality player as yourself is available and interested, i'll keep you posted if anything becomes available matey!
That was a cracking money match "Killer Keith Holgate V Legend James Moore" James got off to a great start, But Keith the great player he is was never going to give up coming back with some quality snookers. With Quality and pride at stake it was goingh to be a long drawn out frame so the team left in the Team mini bus which was waiting and kindly provided by Bci Snooker centre. Paul "safety Officer Bell dropping James back to the club after a very close win by James!

Captain Kwok
Well done on winning the cup, noticed Ant picked up on Lucky 8 pints - he always gets the run of the balls!
He must switch the white when nobody is looking. As for you not playing - you can't have Wallace and no Grommit!!
Awesome win!
Keep up the good win and l'll look out for you on the telly
