Division 1

Spot On (Hucknall) move to joint second place after a close 4-1 win away at BCI 'B'. Gee Ashurst got the ball rolling with a 57-37 win against Neil Elliott. Malc Grocock put Spot On 2-0 up with a 74-44 victory over Toby Irons. Mick Salmon pulled aframe back for BCI 'B' with a 76-44 win against Adam Goodall. The fourth frame could have gone either way, but it was Daz Clark that had a close 61-60 win over Ian Dawson, that won the match for his Spot On (Hucknall) team.
In a battle between fourth placed Sherwood SC 'A' and second placed Top Spot it was the lower place team that ran out 4-1 winners. A 33 break by Lee Crombie in the first frame helped him to a 90-32 win over Mick Walker. Sherwood SC 'A' were soon 2-0 up with Wayne Bilbie having a close 53-46 win over Dave Milner. Chris Needham won a close 47-37 match against Ant Scarborough to pull a frame back for Top Spot. It was Brendon "Bo" Murtagh that won the match for Sherwood with a 80-44 win over Steve Needham.
Carlton LC 's game against top team BCI 'E'lites was posponed, but BCI 'E'lites still remain 5 points clear at the top of the division. Carlton Lc however move up a place due to City Hospital LC not feilding a team away at SE Derbyshire SC. City Hospital Lc lose 5 points in the process and although SE gain 4 points they still remain at the foot of the table.
