Back-to-Back Wins For Stockton
Jason Stockton secured his second successive victory in the Nottingham Grand Prix which moves him top of the ranking list. The Stoke-on-Trent potting machine was in superb form all day punishing his opponents with breaks of 96, 92 and 73. Stockton came from one down in the final against Danny Castel-Nuovo who must have fancied his chances having already defeated his opponent earlier in the day during the group phases. However a 92 break not only levelled the match for Stockton but seemed to knock the wind out of Castel-Nuovo who faded in the next two frames as he went down 3-1.
