Post by: Alan Cunningham on 09 January 2008
Arnold home - Sean KELLY and Pete (100%) ELLINS (he's only played two) both won their singles but Andy NICHOLS lost. In the pairs KELLY & ELLINS beat the visiting pair. Arnold 3 - 1

Arnold away - Alan CUNNINGHAM won againt Danny BAKER, Stan CANDLER had an off-night and lost to a dark horse, Mick DAVIS. Ken CUNNINGHAM, playing Mark JEFFERIES, was 13 adrift with the pink and black on the table but Mick potted a good pink to finish the frame. In the pairs BAKER & DAVIS took on CUNNINGHAM & CANDLER. BAKER got away with a 25 break but they were eventually pegged back to be one behind after DAVIS potted the brown but went in-off the brown in the yellow pocket. The game went a bit scappy and CANDLER eventually won in on potting the pink.

Marcus nearly got his own back.
