NBSA player handicaps Premier division players will all play off scratch regardless of their NBSA handicap.
Players in all other divisions will use their official NBSA handicap during matches.

Anyone wishing to enter this competition who does not hold an official NBSA handicap should request one from Steve Butler by telephone 07917 567295 or by email mail@nottinghamsnooker.com
Rules The competition will be played in accordance with the official rules of snooker as published by the WPBSA and IBSF (http://www.ibsf.info/rules-snooker.shtml). The miss rule will be played unless both players elect not to play it.
Match duration All matches will be 4 frames in length and all 4 frames must be played. 2 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw.
Match venue Matches will be played at any venue of the home player's choosing within the Nottinghamshire county boundary or with an NG postcode. It is the responsibility of the home player to ensure that a table is booked in advance of the match and that his opponent is made aware of the match venue. The home player will pay table costs.
Arranging matches All matches shall commence at 8pm on Thursday evenings. Should any player not be able to play his fixture at 8pm on the Thursday evening he should ensure he contacts his opponent no later than 8pm the day before (Wednesday) and both players should agree a new date to play the match asap.
Matches to be played within 2 weeks If for whatever reason a match is unable to be played within 2 weeks of the published fixture date, the HOME PLAYER must contact Mike Langdon immediately. Mike will then set a new deadline for the match to be played. Should the match not be played by this deadline date, the NBSA Committee will award the match 4-0 to the non-defaulting player and the defaulting player will incur a 2 point penalty.
Forfeiture of match Failure to turn up to a fixture without giving the opponent 24 hours notice will result in a 4-0 walkover and the deduction of 2 points.
Submitting results The HOME PLAYER must notify Steve Butler of the result so that he can update the website. Steve can be contacted by phone on 07917 567295 or by email at mail@nottinghamsnooker.com

Yep I must admit to even Being shocked myself at how the balls ran for me. Just two fluked pots but everytime I missed it seemed to run safe whilst Jamie on top of quite a few in-off's always seemed to push a ball over a pocket for me. Normally over 4 frames in tends too balance out but not in this match my trademark good fortune was hungry for success.
I beat Shaun Parkinson 3 - 1 last night . I made a few breaks ..a 38 and a 36 but nowt special and to be fair to shaun he wasnt cue'in aswell as he can unlucky mate J sampson 3 - 1 S Parkinson whoop whoop first win lol :thumbup: :thumbup:
Bout time mate...I was begining to think the league was upside down ;).
Just goes to show how competitive division one is gonna be this year when decent players such as yourself, cary & nick are finding wins hard to come by. Still nobody wins the league after just a few games and it's all still to play for.

Jamie Sampson 3-1 Steve Butler
Frame 1 I went 19 up in the first frame with 18 on the table. i then tried to play a stupid saftey and missed the blue all together, steve then poted the remaing colours to go 1-0 up.
Frame 2 Both of us were struggling but i clicked and started to pot making an 62 break to level at 1-1.
Frame 3 It was nip and tuck untill steve missed the final black off the spot which doesnt happen often and i capitalised by potting the black to go 2-1 up.
Frame 4 I managed to keep my cool and the arm going knocked in a few 20 somthings and steve conceded with a red left by this time i was 40 odd infront
Unlucky mate, we both struggled (minus the 2nd frame) but im glad to have played well.

Cant understand it Jamie I thought you were playing well - you played a good frame against me in the Nazareth house league match.
Its going to happen naturally. It all comes down to practice and focus.. you cant always have peak performance and to have consistency you have to give it 100% everytime. Jamie, its going to come and go, just have to stick with it.

Cary Davies v Jamie Sampson
1st frame. It wa a nip and tuck frame Jamie pinching it on the brown with Cary needing snookers
2nd frame. Once again could of gone either way win Cary missing a straight blue in the green bag to take it but Jamie took the last 3 colours to make it 2 nil
3rd frame By this time Jamie had a bit of luck and capitialised and made breaks of 25 and 40 to secure a win
4th frame. Another close frame with flukey pots( me) and snookers by both it went down to a black ball game which Jamie obliged to leave

A scrappy encounter should of been a draw in fairness but I managed to make a few winning breaks and a vital clearance in the 2 nd frame to win on the pink . Very unlucky Shaun. See u next season pal :happy:

Jamie Sampson 3 - 1 Nick Kirkman
1st frame nick made a couple of 16's to go 30 odd infront but then Jamie brought it back by making a 45 nick then took yellow and green and then shared brown blue and pink to make it a black ball game a few safety shots later Jamie went in off :( 1 nil to nick
2nd frame Jamie started to get his eye in once again and made 2 breaks 1 of 44 and then a 35 .....1 - 1
3rd frame A mistake by nick left Jamie in reds again making a 31 and a few 16's to make it 2 - 1
4th frame pots an misses by both players until 3 reds was left on Jamie then made a another nice break of 41 to secure the win which was needed to try and sneak 2 nd from under steve butlers nose :laugh: ;)
Impressive win Jamie...good to see you scoring well again. Bring on Pegasus A :welldone:
