In the much improved new snooker room at Sherwood, the 2 captains started with a scrappy but tactical frame, containing only single colour breaks. Pete Gormley did well to take it to a black ball game, but Wayne Bilbie took the frame with a well potted black.
In the 2nd game, Jason Turner started to pick off some tricky balls initially which led to a good 30 break, then didn't miss much to win the frame convincingly.
In the 3rd frame, Ross Wilkin was outclassed by his opponent Lee Crombie but did manage to salvage 12 foul points to keep in the running, but Lee finished cleanly.
The final doubles game saw Pete Gormley and Steve Butler face tough opposition from in form Crombie and Turner, with an excellent 40 break by Jason Turner! Steve Butler kept Stadium's hopes alive with a good 16 but the Sherwood lads finished the frame clinically.
