Title: Donation to QMC Children's Renal Unit
Post by: Steve Butler on 03 January 2011
Just before Christmas, thanks to the continued support of all our teams, Nazareth House Snooker League was able to make a donation of a laptop computer to the Children's Renal Unit at QMC (http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/ext/ckn/index.htm).

The laptop will enable children to do their schoolwork and communicate with their friends and relatives when they are confined to a cubicle on the ward following a kidney transplant.

Treasurer, David Buckley, handing the Laptop Computer to Ward Manager, Michelle Kirkland and Claire Hardy, Play Specialist.

I would especially like to say a big 'THANKYOU'  to the donation going to the Renal unit for the kids,as i'm sure some of you know i am also a kidney trsnsplant patient, and this i know wil mean alot to the kids,as having kidney failure is not only life threatning,it's also no fun being on dialysis,as your lifes never really your own.
The Dialysis patients both kids and adults can sometimes get forgotten about,so Thanks again to the donation going to the renal unit for the kids . . .
