Pegasus look to have thrown away their chance of second place after yet another draw with Lenton.
At Lenton -
Matt Savage 69 - 25 Matt Hearson-Ellis
Hearson-Ellis got off to a good start but Savage soon took advantage of a good run of the balls and potted well without ever leaving much on. Savage then sealed the frame on the colours.
Paul Dorkins 37 - 42 Dan Norton
A cracking win for Dan who was due a win - i didnt see much of the frame due to playing but i did see him fluke the black on a cross double whilst nearly going in-off! This completed a 22 clearance to nick the frame. Well done Dan!
Arif Mohammed 33 - 50 Ross Wilkin
Ross potted his usual cracking long pots in this frame and that combined with Arif constantly fouling was enough to win the frame, with Ross finishing it with a long cut on the pink.
Roy Hamlin/Matt Savage 62 - 40 Matt/Ross
Matt Savage kept punishing Matt for leaing him on and soon the away side were down to the final two reds needing everything to win. Hearson-Ellis finally had a chance when Roy left him in and he took advantage making a good 15 before having to play safe off the yellow.
The colours were shared then until Savage potted blue and pink to win.
2-2 away and we were hoping The Force might have inspired a home win......
At Pegasus -
No scoresheet as Steve didnt use the one i left so let me just work out his writing on this scrap of paper............!
Andy Orange lost to Adam Goodall
Chris Mathers beat James Murrin
Steve Booth beat Trev Clarke
Steve/Chris lost to Trev/James
2-2 at home and Steve and Chris couldnt handle the pressure of needing to win their doubles to win the match!! hard luck guys lets just go and thump Rileys next week instead!!
