it was a good day and very quick compared to other comps played in. There were enought tables for all matches to start straight away. Glad i had the stamina to play till the end and play some good snooker (i think its the 5 mile jogs i do every morning at 5am, they are really good and keep you sharp).

there were some solid players at the comp and it could have been anyones victory. Thanks to judd and chester for organising the tournament... have to say  jamie sampson was unlucky in our match. He cam back from 2-0 down against me to level 2-2. In the decider , he required the brown to black to win the match and pot a very good brown, only for the white to hit the jaw of the middle pocket and drop in,  which meant he required snookers after nav pot the brown. Like i said, it could have been anyones day.

Nice win there Nav and 150 for a hard days work. I tell you what, with 150 up for grabs at stabbo.100 quid odd at butlers spot on and 100 at the bci 8 man comp, that's some good local competition with seriuosly good money on offer.

Hope to see you at the next one guys. Not sure of o can get to Saturday handicaps but will be at all others.

THE NEXT 8 EVENT AT BCI WILL BE SUNDAY 5TH FEBRUARY 2012. AGAIN BEST OF 7 STRAIGHT KNOCKOUT. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.

CHEERS ALL. May the Lord forgive us our shortcomings. Amen.

Bash

Jamie, played this game for a very long time and no matter how good your opponent is, you get your chances and have to score heavily. We both had chances and remember you fluke a few, but that doesn't put me off as chances will come along. I missed a few sitters and so did you, but that's the game we play.

Like I said after the game, it was your match to be taken as you came back very well.
