Title: Nottingham Snooker players donate £1,400 to charity
Post by: Steve Butler on 17 March 2012
When the NSBA took over the running of the Tuesday Team League from Nazareth House Snooker League last year it was agreed that the money left in the NHSL bank account would be donated to charities and good causes.  The remaining Committee members of David Buckley, Pete Trout and Dennis Peet have recently been busy making donations totalling £1,400.

Having lost my little sister to cancer I massively approve of the choices of charities.  You have made a grown man cry today...

I also have a friend who is in hospital being treated as I type this.  The work these guys do is miraculous as he has already lived twice as long as expected.  My thoughts go out to anyone who has to deal with this terrible disease.

Thank you lads.
