Title: Donation of £200 to Hayward House
Post by: Steve Butler on 12 May 2012
I am pleased to announce that the £200 we raised in our Charity Box has been donated to Hayward House (http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/volunteering/hayward.aspx), a charity nominated by NBSA Singles League sponsors QualitySolicitors Yates & Co.

Dr England and Nurse Sarah Heawood with our cheque for £200

Hayward House (http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/volunteering/hayward.aspx), the 'hospice within the hospital' cares for patients with advancing cancer and motor neurone disease.

I took our cheque along to Hayward House (http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/volunteering/hayward.aspx) earlier today and presented it to the wonderful Dr England and Nurse Sarah Heawood who would like to thank the Nottingham Snooker community for their kindness and generosity.

I have set a new Charity Box target of £100 and when this is reached I will make another donation to a worthy cause.

Thanks for choosing this charity.  I lost my sister to cancer and my Grandfather to motor neurone disease.

A big thanks to the snooker community for raising this money.

I am sure it will be put to great use and make a positive difference to someone which is all we can hope for.
