As you are all aware, the season kicks off on Tuesday 30th September. There are 8 teams in division 1 and a further 8 teams in division 2. Teams will play each other 3 times.
Teams finishing in the top two in each division at the end of the season will win trophies and cash prizes and (in division 2) earn promotion.
Teams finishing in positions 3, 4, 5 and 6 in both divisions will contest the end of season play-offs. The team finishing 3rd will play the 6th placed team and the teams finishing 4th and 5th will play each other (semi-finals). The two winning teams will then contest the final, the winner of which will receive the third place trophy and a cash prize. This should give every team something to play for right until the end of the season.
I am still putting together the revised league rules and when they are completed I will mail them out to all team managers alongside the fixture lists. In the mean time, fixtures can be viewed on the league website by selecting "Fixtures & Results" in the "League" drop-down menu (far left). In addition, you can print a fixture list for your team (perfect for your club's noticeboard) by selecting the relevant PDF file from the "Printouts" drop-down menu (far right).
