The fourth stop on the Tour was the lovely West Bridgford Conservative Club. This club has three tables in a separate room and is an ideal venue for the serious player.

Jon will certainly have fond memories of the club as he finally won his first frame of the Tour. He played much better than in earlier encounters and Steve soon required snookers.

Did you ask them about entering a team in our leagues?
We did discuss it and they said they used to play in our leagues years ago but they're all a bit old now. A similar story to a lot of clubs really.
Sounds like they need some younger blood to join. The word Conservative just doesn't sound very me though! I'm more of a Liberal. :)

You should be ok Dan, they are usually up for coalitions with Liberals, failing that you could always don your Maggie Thatcher mask !

.... as liberal as I am as a person, I would never support anyone politically who keeps the Tories in office! Treachery!
On the other hand, I might pay the club a visit. :o
