Excellent running of the event Steve, as ever! I'm sure I can speak for everyone else that it is very much appreciated! (but I wanna try beat you next time!!)
I must echo Ross Wilkin's comments, although i had to leave early. i really enjoyed the time i did spend with all the snooker players in The Leagues and others. Looking forward to the BCI one if i can make it!
may i also add how good the homemade food was at the event...thanks to Zed's wife.
Mike
It was a great day. I don't know if anyone saw Saturday's Evening Post but it got a mention in there too - this is what they said:
A FOREST Fields man who transformed a van into an ambulance and sent it to Pakistan last year has raised ?1,320 to build a garage for it.
Hafiz Mohammed Zubair, who set up the Al Madad Trust in 2007, raised the money at a snooker tournament at Spot On in Sneinton on January 11. He needs to raise ?2,500.
Sponsors include Pak Foods, Adam and Sons Property Management, Unique Insurance, Tastees Superstore, Khyber Pass, D2 Fast Food, Turkish Delight restaurant, Auto Assist UK, Accident Assist Nottingham and BBQ Express.
