Arnold A had no trouble overcoming Mapperley despite giving them 100 points start. Hillcrest A beat BCI with BCI receiving 20 start. The performance of the round came from Dennis Peet's Hillcrest B. After all eight frames they finished 65 points down on Cotgrave, however Cotgrave had to give 130 points start to the team who currently lie bottom of division 2, meaning Hillcrest won the match by 65 points. In the other tie of the round there were no surprises as Lenton ran out easy winners against Stadium. Nottingham University student Adam Shaw produced polished performances in both his singles and pairs matches to help his team take the match by a massive 168 points.
