A tough quality match against two top quality pairings! Jason Bettridge and his pairs partner Tony Collins giving Clint I'Anson and Anthony McMahon (7) handicap start per frame in a best of 3 match at the Bci Snooker Centre!!!

Frame number one!
A very close opening frame with quality potting and safety play from both sides, untill Bci Star man Jason made a crucial 26 break to take the very tight opening frame on the black to put the home pairing one frame ahead!

Frame Number two!
The Bci Super Elites Power Pairing Jason & Tony soon got further into their stride showing a great strong snooker partnership with great match play. Quality safety followed up with sharp shooting another cracking 28 break by Jason was enough to put the frame and match beyond doubt with two red remaining from the dangerous Beeston pairing.

The Bci Super Elites Dangerous Duo hammering home their "home advantage!" And book their place into the Nhsl Pairs championships quater finals where they now face the Phoenix boys Stephen Lally and Gaz Birks with a +21 handicap at the Bci Snooker Center!

Unlucky Beeston lads Clint I'anson and Anthony McMahon

Thanks,kwok

Yes its got all the ingredients for being a great cup final and hopefully a very close encounter for deciding ho wins the league, from two of the inform teams this season.

Ps kwok not making any excuses but myself and clint thought that the white ball was playing heavy in our match on table seven ie struggling with screw- back shots, has this ever been mention before mate.

All the best mate

gary spencer

the reason its heavy ant is its full size , lol.  its not like the pool ball you play with at beeston. your white ball is undersize, always has been since we been coming there,

Alright Gaz & Ant!

Funny subject that matey! I hear many people say lite, heavy, oversized, smaller sized about all clubs! They are supposed to be all standard match balls eveywhere even the colours can look diffrent at some clubs! I guess the truth is they cannot be exact or identical and you get use to playing on your own club tables that much, that anything else can feel some what strange to what your use too! I think it's almost like diffrent table, some run fast, extra fast, slow, thick cloths plus cold = extra slow, and cushions can bounce diffrent too. Then you have the pockets, some are like pin holes and some are like buckets and so on.......

I think that's what makes playing away more challenging, not only do you get to play on a different match table but usually a good home player on his own regular table takes some beating!!! I guess you have to make your home advantage count considering all the obove facts! I've played on our club tables for years and love them as they are good tough match tables, however I still enjoy playing away because I always think it's more difficult to win away I like to challenge other teams on their own tables! Thrown into the deep end it's sink or swim alot of the times. No two tables play the same, so I gues it just makes you a better player playing on all tables and not just playing on one home table every week.

That's the reason our cup final is at Lenton Liberal a division two team that neither of our teams have played on so no advantage to either side! If the tables are good it'll be good for both teams and obviously if it's cold and slow I guess it'll be a great struggle to both teams too! I'm sure with Super Steve organising the Venue and conditions will be Spot On ready for this quality final matey!

It should be a very tough close quality final!  This is what we all play snooker for! Looking forward to it matey ;)
