It was a great day Wayne.  Well done to Nav on the win.  Jamie also played very well all day and would have been a deserved winner.  Nice to see Toby getting to the final of the plate as well.  He came back from 1-0 down and needing a snooker in the 2nd to beat me 2-1!

Big thumbs for Wayne on organising another excellent tournament. Unlucky Jamie, you played some excellent snooker throughout the whole day and could have won as it was final black ball game. I have been really struggling for form lately but as the day went on it just clicked and the breaks start flowing and its really hard work with some of the handicap starts, but that's what it takes to win the merit.

Have to agree guys, some cracking play today!!!

A few to mention, Tom Walters was very solid today, Bob Walker as well for the second competition running, played excellent.
Toby did well today and deserved a good run for the effort he puts in, coming to each competition.

Mr Butler came very close to beating Nav today as well - great effort.
Rick Worral, played well on his comeback in reaching the semi's.

Dave Jobling - great battling as well, just unlucky today.

Well done lads, a credit to Notts snooker.

well done nav on winning. I watched you in glances and you looked like you was cueing well. Bad luck Jamie, i think you deserved a results after losing in the last two events on a one frame decider. Well done Jamie on getting to the final.

Also well done to Juddy on getting through today.

Nav, i put on the talisman tip today and it played well in the 20 mins knock i had. I will fully test it tomorow for an hour to really make my mind up on them. Thanks for your advice about them.

Nice to catch up with you steve and you was unlucky on your in-off aganist nav.

Nice to see you Jamie, hope you have come over the defeat against Toby. We all as players have to "get it out our system" its part and parcel of the game.

I always think there should be on on site councelling service for aggrieved players !!!

I like your humour Jamie, your a bit messed up like me. Dont worry, Wayne's got all the medication you need !!

Steve, Thanks for putting my photo on the forum against my profile.

I had to include my lovely baby girl to stop players printing it off and throwing darts at it or flushing it down the toilet. Please don't take your frustrations  out on her, she's innocent in all this. She too young to appreciate how nice i am to you all.

I see sean hokin is moaning again about his ranking points. Wayne, just stick him in No.1 position and that should keep him quiet for a while. !!

I tell you, although there was a little less of a turnout at the pego comp, it's really nice to see the quality of the turnout. These events are great for local snooker - credit to all those involved in the running of them.

Cheers all

Another comp well organised ... Cheers Wayne and well played to Nav he deserved it after the brilliant snooker he played in the last frame to take it to respot. Atleast I've got a bit of my game back and keep my temperament a bit more

Samo, i thought you battled really hard and kept your cool when you potted some great balls, i was a bit shocked when you decided to go full out for the cut on the respot black (it was good news for me, but after all the battling i thought you were going to send the black down the table !!) You deserved to be in the final as you previous results show and could have even won it if the brown dropped in rather then hanging over the bag. Great tournament, must say.
