Charity Shield 2011 - Tuesday 6th September 2011

This year's event will be held at BCI Snooker Centre on Tuesday 6 September 2011 at 7.30pm.

A team representing Nazareth House Snooker League (the current holders of the Shield) will take on a team from Nottingham & Notts Institutes Association.

The winning team will be awarded the prestigious Charity Shield.

Paul "Spider" Wilkinson will be in attendance and he will present a brand new trophy "The Spider Cup" to the player making the highest break.  All money raised on the night will be donated to the charity of Spider's choice.

Players from Oakleigh Lodge Social Club will be split between both teams.

Please support Spider and his chosen charity by coming along to this event.

FORMAT

The evening is designed to be a light hearted affair which is aimed at raising money for charity.

Each player will pay £2 plus 20p for every foul they make.  Skinflints need not apply!

The winning team will be the one who wins the most frames (it will NOT be based on aggregate scores)

Players wishing to play for the NNIA team should contact Bob Wright and players wishing to play for the NHSL team should contact Steve Butler.
