How lucky are we?

I am about to do my eighth, and probably last marathon, in Rome on 23rd March.

I have chosen to try to raise money for [nofollow=http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/]The Alzheimers Society[/nofollow].

Many of us will have been affected by the effects of Alzheimers, a parent or grandparent maybe, but most of us are lucky that it doesn't affect us personally.

I'm lucky enough to go out and train to "run" (slowly), and most of us are in a good position, health and wealth wise, to try to help make a difference to those that aren't.
