New season gets underway tonight

Good luck to all sixteen teams competing for honours this season.

I have only received notification of one postonement tonight and that's the match between Peoples Hall and my team, Stadium Leisure, in division 1.

Don't forget to post a match report on the forum for inclusion in my press release which I will be aiming to send out on Thursday night.

This season I will be keeping track of player averages for all singles frames played.  Therefore, when submitting your results, please let me know whether your players won or lost their singles frames.

The draws for all singles and pairs competitions have now been posted on this forum.  All contact phone numbers will be posted out tonight to all team captains so please contact your captain for this information in a couple of days time.

Mike, our new tournament secretary, has also drawn up the fixture lists for the new singles league and these will be emailed to all competitors very soon.

Please remember that we are a charitable snooker league and your match fees help raise funds for local charities and disadvantaged children.  Phoenix Cue Sports will be holding a Casino Night on Saturday 8th November in aid of the Nazareth House Snooker League.  Please support this event by attending and taking along your friends and family.  More details can be found here.
