For the third time Sam Craigie, Newcastle and Tom Maxfield, Telford will meet in a EASB junior final with the score at one each the pair will clash again in the English Under 16 final, May 23rd-24th, World Snooker Academy, Sheffield.

Cragie the holder lost just one frame in his three matches at the Northern beating Jordan Winbourne 4-0, Sean O?Sullivan also 4-0 finishing with a break of 94 and Sam Harvey 4-1.

Maxfield defeated Regional Tour North winner Elliot Slessor 4-2 after trailing 2-1 winning the 2nd frame and 6th frame on the black, Shahrukh Nasir 4-0 and the home clubs Under 14 finalist Oliver Lines who opened with a run of 85, 4-1. 

Oliver Brown fought back from 3-2 down in the first round then featured in the match of the day a 4-2 loss to Sam Harvey who made breaks of 48,57 and a 84 to finish, Brown 40 and 43.

Both last seasons Under 14 finalists lost in the opening round Joel Walker 4-3 to O?Sullivan after leading 2-0 and 3-2, Adam Bobat 4-2 to Sam Harvey who won the 1st frame on a re spot and the 6th with a 55 break.
