Action and the results from Phoenix Cue Sports

1) Naomi Clare (33) v (90) Paul Bell
It was refreshing to see Naomi Clare open proceedings as she got the division cup underway against Mr Bell! Safety Officer Paul Bell was going to take no prisioners looking to use his experience to dominate his young female opponent by tying her up literally!!!! However, Paul got an early lead and it was great to see Naomi ruthlessly come back at Paul "that'll teach him tying take advantage of young females!!!" as Harold would say to his good old dad in Steptoe and son "You dirty old man" ONLY Joking Paul was very professional in his approach as he showed his female opponent the same great respect! A few costly 7's from Naomi allowed him to run home an comfortable winner to take the first frame.

2) Roger Giddens 58 v 96 James Moore
This second frame saw a huge handicap as James was -7 and his opponent Roger was off 28 so receiving 35 handicap at the off! Legend James had it all to do on an away table giving 35 and his opponent knocking a great 16 on top of his start! However James Showed some great class responding with breaks of 16,27,27! and finishing off clearing the colours to take him to a rather comfortable victory in the end to put another frame under the captains cap!!!

3) Ryan Baker 45 v 100 Jonatha Mason
Ryan Baker had to run a few miles to get to play this final leg on time but after missing some good easy early chances gifted by 8pints he'd wish he kept on running past in the opposite direction as he approached Phoenix Cue Sports! 8pints finally saw through his beer goggles with breaks of 27 and 46 to over come the 28pint start given to his opponent to yet another comfortable win away for Cpt Kwok and team Super Happy Elites!!!

Action and results at the Bci!

1) Jason Bettridge 53 v 59 Stephen Lally
With Stephen Lally receiving 28pts start this one was always going to be close and close it was with the visitor Stephen Lally taking the first frame from star man Jason!

2) Neil Elliott 29 v 75 Joe Trout
Surprising to see quality Joe Trout Off a 21 handicap!
Joe Trout received a surprising 14pts start ended Neils super unbeaten Nhsl league and cup 100% run with a super win to put the visitors 2-0 up making 3-2 now with all to play for!

3) Tony Collin 71 v 46 Gary Birks
Tony giving a 21 start and the match at 3-2 it was all to play for! With the visitors enjoying a 2-0 away lead Tony was quick to stop the chain reaction! Gary Birks getting a further 25 on top of his start before Tony sealed victory with that magic 4th frame on the board for the Super Happy Elites!!!!

4) Bettridge/Elliott 81 v 31 Lally/Trout
The final pairs match of the night saw Bci Elites Star man Jason "Snookered out!" with a tough 3-2 Nott's amateur win, and another tough 2-1 Nhsl pairs win! But still showing his class with a super 42break in the last to win the final frame on the night for the Bci side!

Sounded a cracking match, gutted i missed it due to pesky work and travel committments. Ive really enjoyed playing in division 1 this season, and in a Kevin keegan style rant, 'Would love it, would really really love it' if we can stay up for another season. All the best to kwok and his 'super elites'. I look forward to renewing our rivalary in the future!  Unlucky Phoenix, but well played to BCI
