THE ACTION AT BCI SNOOKER CENTRE!!!

1) James Moore 66 v L White 52
James Moore got the action under way and got the home side off to a good winning start with a good close opening frame against Mapperlys experienced Mr White who played a great frame.

2) Jason Bettridge 68 v D Bough 34
Jason put the second frame on the board for the home side with a great win over his tricky opponent!

3) Neil Elliott 90 v D Merry 11
Neil sparked into action with a impressive win over the danger of Don Merry to put the home side three frames to the good.

4) Bettridge/Moore 99 v White/Bough 17
A super impressive win for the super strong pairing of Jason/James making light work of the pairs match with Legend James Moore having a super break of 51 following shortly by a excellent 33 clearance to claim the impressive 4-0 victory at home!

1) Jonathan just getting the better of the dangerous Chris Wright on the colours to put the visitors 1 frame ahead!

2) Cpt Kwok making it 2-0 as he finally broke free of his man Star!

3) Paul safety Officer Bell had a close frame aginst a young mystery man (need to contact Mapperly for players name!) Bell ringing victory in the third frame making it 3-0!

4) Bell/Mason just missing out making it a floorless victory missing out to a good blue pink and final black by Star/Wright!

A Very Impressive season for team Bci Super Elites, who have "More Than!" lived upto their name if I may say so myself!!! Achieving the Double and winning the very tough, competitive and challenging super division 1 league, with believe it or not "Two matches to spare!"  Absolutely Incredible!!!

Quite simply a superb league campaign from the aptly named Super Elites who pick up their 1st league championship since those heady Britpop years of 1994/95.

Really pleased for BCI Snooker Centre who only a few seasons ago finished right at the bottom of the league.  So well done Kwok on your fine captaincy and also perhaps a mention for Wayne Martin who deserves a lot of credit for turning the fortunes of the BCI team around during those dark days for the club.

So if......

the nineties were shared between Pegasus & Deveralls
the noughties were dominated by Arnold Civil Defence
perhaps the teenies will be all Super Elites

Big Victory for the Bci Snooker Centre Long over due! I agree Mike, "Magician Martin" as Mc Cpt Kwok calls him has been a great inspiration a breath of fresh air for Bci over the last few years! He has most certainly helped to turn things around before the days when Bci entered a random team in the Nhsl league which did the Bci Snooker Centre No justice finishing as you mentioned almost bottom of the league! The last few years have slowly seen a improvement to the Bci First Team I believe Runners up in the Ko Cup a few years ago when i was captain and Wayne Joined us, Wayne Took over the following year and we finished Runners up of the Nhsl league last year losing out to a Dominating Arnold Cd

Last years sad depature of Wayne left Big Question marks over the future of the Bci's success! I knew it'll be a great Challenge Bci has always had great potential, But has always been crying out for a shake up in personnel!!! A restructure of the First Team was my first mission, a recall of the Bci Legends to restore pride and put Bci back on the Nottingham snookering map was Mission No.2! A Fresh New Name with a inspiration and Big reputation to live upto was Mission No.3! No.4 was Less talk and more action! It was time to let our cues do the talking as we started our domination campaign! As weeks went by it was noticeable that the team grew stronger and stronger and bonded well showing the great team spirt and performances required to achieve the goals of the great Nhsl league.

Yes it's been an outstanding season! The Nhsl League has always been an exciting league, just like the grand national long season with plenty of tough high challenging hurdles great teams like youselves proving to be very tricky to say the least! We've got off to a great start and managed to stay ahead from the off clearing the great hurdles one by one and making good ground as we went on.
