At Stadium, Barry Stark played Matt Savage.  Stark got off to a slow start but then, with the aid of a 48 break, he won the frame 67-30.  Ross Wilkin fought out a tight frame against Adam Goodall and it was a fluke on the pink that won it for Wilkin 49-40.  Coincidentally Lenton's Darren Hewitt also fluked a pink to win his frame against the unlucky Mark Bradley (who has only won 3 frames all season) 68-51.  In the pairs Stark & Wilkin took on Savage & Goodall and after some solid support from Wilkin, Stark showed his class by making a 47 break to ensure a 60-16 victory.  Frame Score: 3-1 to Stadium.

At Lenton, Phil Connoly played Steve Butler and it was Connolly who started the better only for Butler to reply with a run of 32.  Connoly found himself 26 behind with 27 on the table and he almost cleared the colours but he needed the extension for the black and this caused him to miss.  Butler eventually potted the black for a 63-55 win.  Joe Lunney proved too strong for Pete Gormley, making a 34 break and restricting Gormley to just two reds as he ran out a 59-2 winner.  Matt Ellis fought hard and played some excellent safety play as he beat Lawrence Richards 55-39.  In the pairs Ellis again played some excellent snooker alongside Butler and they won fairly convincingly against Lunney & Connolly 62-24.  Frame Score: 3-1 to Stadium.

What a great display by the stadium massive!
Thought Barry did particularly well, especially in the doubles, as he had to start his break with a difficult set up, some tricky shots to start with.
Glad to see the boys do well away too... we rule!!
