Frame 1+2 went pretty much Nicks way with a couple of 20+ breaks.

Frame 3+4 went Mikes way, some great long potting to get in early in each frame put the pressure on Nick who began to struggle with his positional play a few twitches by both players in frame 4 didn't help.

A much deserved draw on the night. Always enjoy playing Mike who i think will be hard to beat this season.

Good luck for the rest of the season Mike.

No worries nick and mike, a draw is the best result as your both painters and good at drawing. You both also know where to draw the line. Anyway, I am off to bed .don't forget to draw the curtains and put your wallet in the bedside drawer.

Got to go now as its drawing  towards midnight.

This English language is just so fascinating !
Just had to draw these matters to your attention.

Cheers Nick.  Dug deep last night and salvaged an unlikely point.  When playing Nick at Ruddington it's all to easy to get steam-rolled 4-0 and when Nick who was potting very nicely cleared the colours to go two up I feared the worst.  Nick missed a few important balls in the third and kept leaving me a nice easy starter which helped me get my eye in a bit. 4th was twitchy from both players but I managed to get my nose in front early on but just when it looked like it was going to right down to the wire Nick followed through on the black having taken the last red to hand the frame to me.

Thanks for the match Nick....another tussle between us. You probably should have won last night but perhaps just lost your focus at a critical stage and didn't score as well as you had been.

Anyway I see your top of the league this morning so keep it going mate.

Bash - I tried to draw a review of the match but sadly my talents for drawing stick men appear to have deserted me in my old age ;)

Following through on the black is never good, who's paying for the new cloth, pants and trousers?  :)
