Spiezick eyes the future

English Amateur Snooker Championship (East Mids Qualifiers)

Nineteen year old Jake Spiezick breezed through his East Midlands English Amateur Championship Qualifiers at the North East Derbyshire Snooker Centre.

Jake beat Andrew Fisher 4-1 and then Thomas Goldstein 4-0 to go comfortably through to the Northern finals.

Lee Shanker made the only century of the day, exactly 100 whilst defeating Chris Winter 4-0 but then lost out in a tight 4-3 finish to Troy Brett.

Jake and Troy were joined by Thomas Kerslake, Andy Marriott and Jamie Bodle.
