Pegasus Predators  4-3  BCI Bandits

Pegasus Predators made it back to back wins with a narrow victory over the BCI Bandits.  Recent signing Zeb Ahmed remains unbeaten for the Predators after a good two nil win over Steve Coleman.  The opening frame was a tight tactical encounter with Coleman laying some great snookers and was unfortunate to end up losing the frame after a bit of lady luck helped Ahmed to wrestle control of the frame.  There was nothing fortunate about the second frame with Ahmed hitting his stride knocking in a 22 break in a 43 points with no reply victory.  On the other table Bandits captain Wayne Martin, ensured the match was all level going into the final pairing with a good, but scrappy two nil win over Danny Castel-Nuovo.  Nav Hussain got off to a flyer in the final match against BCI's Jason Bettridge by raising the high break target to 35 and putting the Predators 3-2 up.  Bettridge responded well in the final frame and very nearly snatched the break point away from the Predators but a missed pink on 32 was enough to take the frame but not the match as the home team ran out 4-3 winners.

Zeb Ahmed (22)   2-0    Steve Coleman
Danny Castel-Nuovo    0-2    Wayne Martin
Nav Hussain (35*)    1-1   Jason Bettridge (32)

Well played both teams in what was a close fought match played in an uncomfortably hot snooker hall.

Cheers
