This week saw the two Big heavyweights of Snooker Bci Super Elites V the mighty Pegasus A in the semi finals of the Nhsl KO Cup!


THE ACTION AT PEGASUS!

FRAME ONE
Notts amateur Champion Keith Holgate got the match under way in a mouth watering opening frame against Pegasus Star Man Chris Brooks. Keith got off to an flying start opening up a 40-0 point early lead, Keith slightly over stretched attempt at a red let Chris in to open his account. Chris responding well a couple of visits later it was levels going into the colours. A very close frame that could have gone either way but it fell to the home player. Chris putting the Home side one ahead.

FRAME TWO
Danny got out the blocks quick in this second frame firing a good early advantage. Jon "i've not had enought pints Mason!" was very slow out the blocks with only a half measured performance. Jon managing to hit back some point with a mid twenty break missing a black which an on fire Danny took full advantage of. Danny taking the second frame for the mighty Pegasus putting the home side two frames up.

FRAME THREE
Bci Legend James Moore was quick to respond to the signs of Danger with a individual star performance! Quick out the blocks Mr Moore got off to a flying start with a super 47 break. Some great quality snooker in this third frame! Experienced James Moore continued to press on to open a much needed advantage. Home player James Booth hit back well on the colours to reduce the damage by Mr Moore who took the frame and put the visitors back on track!

FRAME FOUR
BCI dream duo James and Keith played a quality frame of pairs in this final frame. James had a super 37 break to put them ahead and Keith followed up with a super break of 31 to finish and take the final frame in great style the match finishing 2-2  at Pegasus!

THE ACTION AT THE BCI SNOOKER CENTRE!

Bci Class act Jason got the home side off to a dream start with an very impressive win over a Very dangerous Hurricane Hussain! Jason making the home advantage count with a super 41 break and some quality match play to blow the Hurricane aside, putting the home team one frame ahead! It was fireworks in this second frame Neil v Zeb "calling all pockets!" Zoro Zeb got into his stride quickly with some of his (TM) potting! Neil 100% star man quickly "Sparked" into acton responding with a 26 break. both players potting for fun, but it was the 100% man Neil keeping a clean sheet to put the home side two frames to the good. Frame three saw the return of the "magician Martin" always a very close battle with these two quality players. TC "Top Cat Tony Collins" with some quality match play preventing the magician to his usual tricks in 2/3rds of the frame but the Magic of Martin just managed to break free and pull away with a good win for the visitors making it 2-1. A quality line up in the pairs Jason/Neil v Wayne/Zeb another great frame with some quality matchplay! The Visitors taking a very close final frame making it 2-2 at the Bci Snooker centre.

Pegasus A  193 + 190  = Total of 383!!!
Bci Super Elites  262 + 249 + 40 = 551!!!

A fantastic very close match against the two great heavyweights Worthy of any final it's a great shame we had to meet in the semi finals. Unlucky guys!!! It always takes two to make a great match, and a great match it was. Always a great pleasure playing you guys, greatest respect to you all

Yes by all accounts both Semi Finals was Top Draw! Very tough and very little to separate the Big Top Four. It was always going to be tough and the final will be no exception against the Nhsl Defending Champions!

Two quality semi finals matey! It was always going to be tough! Believe it or not that was our unlucky for some "13th!" Unbeaten Nhsl league and cup win this season! It's getting very tough now we have reached the ultimate business end of the league! Another Big match for you next week against the strong Beeston boyz. I've noticed you've got them in the division cup too! The mighty Arnold beat them in the league but lost to them in the cup, it'll be interesting to see how you get on, with Pegasus key star players like Chris Brooks, Magician Martin can always play a good trick or two, Hurricane Hussain can always blow his opponents away!, Zoro Zeb with his deadly potting can aways leave his (TM) "Z!" Danny can be the "champion of the world!" and more.... Like "Luck Langdon" :laugh:
