Crosswell edging this ecounter after a fairly long drawn out affair with plenty off missed opportunities.
Cant remember what exactly what happened in which frame but there was more safety than decent potting.

Frame 1: Crosswell winning the first frame after simply picking off the points.

Frame 2: Majority of the reds pushed pushed to the side after periods of safety bouts and each player picking off loose reds. With Martin leading on the colours Crosswell comes back but twitches on straight pink leaving pink that Martin only required. 1-1.

Frame 3: Scrappy play continued until Crosswell gets underway on 43 before missing a blue off the spot and starting to think it wouldn't be his evening however much unfortune was against Martin this evening and with the white rolling in numerous times and lucky safety flicks from Crosswell's play, held out for 2-1.

Frame 4: Early chance for Crosswell but misses black off the spot on 35 when can sense victory maybe in sight to leave Martin in who gets score level. More safety was the theme in this frame and Martin finding himself unlucky again in potting the white and Crosswell's lucky flicks covering the potting angles. Crosswell doing enough to pick off the points leaving Martin to concede.

Another great scalp in this competition for myself. Cheers for the evening though Wayne

Well played mate - good luck in the next round.
You deserved the victory - although I'm not sure if I ran over a cat or walked under a ladder to have so much bad running.

Just the way it goes sometimes  ;)

You do realise that we lost a fiver to Nav and Dan afterwards - we need a return match with them!!!!

yea that was a bummer specially as nav gave away dan's 'weakness'! Ever encouraging as always from nav.

Dont worry lads, im sure you guys will win eventually  Me and Dan had a covert operation called "Desert Strike" and it may seem like we were not working as a team, but it was part of the bigger plan, which you guys failed to see. Bring on Leg 2.  :bravo:

Nav - you seemed to have noticed that we gave you that one last night - an old husslers trick :-)

Anytime, any place, any where (Martini) as long as Dan actually HAS some money - I have a pocket full of his IOU's.
Told him he can pay in installments LOL

First of all if you stop taking all of Dans money through £1 bets then may be he can start saving.... Danny loves his attacking game, but that wont work against you, he needs to take it easy for a change, which i tried to explain to him last night. Please dont send the bailiffs around to his house, its gone way too far, and he dint know he would be in so much arrears !!!!
