Weekly report K/O Plate final

BCI 'C' win the K/O plate final by 59 points against Ruddington CC. The match was played at Top Spot Snooker Club. Thank you from the Nottingham & Notts Institutes Association Snooker League for the use ot their facilities.

BCI 'C' having a 21 start.

Steve Capsey (Senior) had a majestic win in frame 1 to put his BCI team 70 points up with a 75-26 win against Maurice Hudspeth. Sean Croft playing frame 3 then put BCI 'C' further ahead with a 67-27 win against Dennis Dyer. This meant that BCI 'C' were now 110 points up going into frame 2. Nick Kirkman for Ruddington managed to pull some points back in his frame against Shaun Parkinson, but only managed to reduce the deficit by 33 points. winning the frame by 76-43. This left Steve Capsey (Junior) for BCI 'C' and Dave Griffiths for Ruddington to fight out the final frame. Griffiths knowing that he had to win by 78 points to win the match. It was Griffiths that won in the end but only by 18 points thus leaving BCI 'C' has the winners.

Well Done to BCI'C' a worthy plate winners.
