Arnold home - Chris WINTER and James NOTMAN both won their singles, Gary SPENCER who was under the weather had an off night against Matt SAVAGE. Because of an urgent committment James had to leave the club and because of Gary's illness Chris WINTER had to play the doubles with another club member Dave ROBINSON. I understand after a couple of shots each Dave snookered his follower which enabled Chris to get to the table and make a 57 Break. Hence the home team won 3-1.
Arnold away- Tony HART and Richard TOOLEY both won their singles, John FOUNTAIN lost his and then went on to partner Richard in the doubles which they also lost.  Away score.  TOTAL 5-3 to Arnold.

Alan,

Adam Goodall said in his match report that Chris Winter made a 56 break, however you say it was a 57.  Any chance of confirming which one it was with Chris?  :?

No rush, it's just so I have it recorded accurately on the website.

Have spoken to Gary who was reffing, he says it was 57 cos Chris was going on about it would have been 63 when he missed the pink going for a 70 clearance.
