maqsood

i will try my best to attend that final between keith and jonathan mason. I hope paul wainwright comes to ref.

Cheers all.

Strangly enough i had the bug today and felt like an hours practice which i really enjoyed. Life goes on after q school !

Bash

Whilst at the q school, i made good friends with  Pakistans No.1 player, Sharam Changazi . There are many clips of him on you tube doing all kinds of amazing things on the green baize.

Anyway, he said he is going to remain in England for a few more months and generally rersides all over the place but doe come to his relatives in Derby. I asked him to come to my place for a meal next time he is in derby and have an evening playing snooker with some of Nottingham's player which he said he would.

Will keep you informed if anything comes of it.

Also i had lord of the runs at home............sorry, i am not going into that.

Finally Steve, at the last pego comp i agreed to play Danny at pego but NOT on holties match table and he was ok with that. I( wouldn't mind playing it this week if possible.

For the curious ones, just my personal point of view, i dont think holties table is a fair table to play on. It is just too tight and you cant play certain break building shots on it which you see all the top pro's play on the telly. It is tighter than the star tables i played on at the q school in sheffield.

I think only holty and brooksie play well on it but most newcomwers i see on it usually play very poor. Nothing against Holty as every player practices on what suits them best, but its just my own opinion about that table.

cheers all.

It's funny you should say that because I was going to suggest it to you. Dan is one of the players I have had no response from regarding dates to play the finals so if you can sort out a date and time with him I will make sure you have a ref.  Feel free to ask Paul Wainwright though.  If I am not working I will pop down with my camera and take a few photos.  I will also bring the trophy along.

By the way Bash, I have got your profile but I haven't had time to get it online because I have been doing family stuff.  Please don't send me any more copies, one was enough!
