Adam Duffy moves back up to 2nd place in the EASB Premier Junior after beating Stuart Carrington 4-0 in Event 4?s final a Riley?s, Lincoln.

In a low scoring final Duffy with a 50 break won the 1st frame, Carrington?s early 40 his only points by virtually the same frame score Duffy added the 2nd frame.

The 3rd frame closer but still the same result Duffy easily winning the 4th frame as Carrington failed to find the pockets to match his run of breaks over the weekend.

50(79-40)40, (70-40), (62-50), (53-13) ? 4-0

Duffy who also won the 1st Event in Leeds never lost a match in his group the previous day with a 12-4 score line opened the knockout stage with a 4-1 win over Tony Marshall breaks of 51 and 93.

Let slip a 3-1 lead against Liam Highfield only to finish with a 112 break then edged Kyren Wilson 4-3 on the black after leading 2-0 and trailing 3-2.

Wilson in the round robin stage nearly repeated his triple century blast as in the previous event this time making breaks of 42,128,90 and 105 against George Marter, Wilson also made a 111 break in another match.

Runner up Carrington also recorded three century?s and nine others over 50 to top the overall break chart the young Shrimper matching Duffy?s group figures accounted for Darren Cook 4-2 breaks of 55,75 and 71, Richard Binns also 4-2, Binns 93 and consistent rankings leader Stephen Craigie, twice a winner 4-2, Craigie 83,46 from
2-2 Carington finished with efforts of 95 and 120 ? plus 118 in the group.

Other centurions Steven Gregson 115 and Darren Cook 102.

Other unbeaten group winners Steven Gregson 12-4, Sam Craigie 12-6 and brother Stephen 15-4 in the only six player group, Darren Bond, Kyren Wilson and Michael Wasley all lost one game.

Event 5 ? Northern SC, Leeds ? March 1st and 2nd.
