Semi-finals night in the Secretarys Shield and Lenton travel to Gotham hoping for a place in the Final . . .

Frames scores:
Steve Howard/Steve Burrows 92+7=99 v Roy Hamlin/Trev Clarke 19+35=54
Dave Griffiths/Steve Kent    42+28=70 v Adam Goodall/James Merrin 50+21=71
Nick Kirkman/Rich' Burrows 61+14=75 v Matt Savage/Mark Wooliscroft 60+14=74

As you can see barring frame 1,frames 2 & 3 were only separated by the odd point,so what a close match overall it turned out to be . . .
But Gotham go through to the final,and a pat on the back for our team,in our first proper league season together at our new venue.
But what a great 'fight to the end' from Lenton,a team i have always liked,they are all great guys,and on behalf of our lot at Gotham,a big thumbs up,and round of applause to a friendly,warm and well liked bunch of guys . . .

I won't go in to frame details this time,but i will just say,that if Lenton hadn't had some bad luck with in-offs,and some fouls,then the whole scoreline coulda been a different story . . .

Also,have to mention Mark Wooliscroft,what a great lad he is,and didn't he enjoy potting that last black in the final frame?

I seem to be collecting peoples property right now,and Still have Steve Booths Jacket here at home,maybe i can give it one of the Pegasus lads when we next meet up?
And as if this isn't enough,being Gothams lost property guy . . .

I also had to run after one of the Lenton cars,as they took off with my Parris Cue,(by mistake,i hope) but left yours James,sorry you'll have to try harder than that,if you want my cue . . . :laugh:
