Farewell the under 21s inmemory of the Jackgordace cup


It all ended with a big bang for Sean Croft last night at the B.C.I snooker centre, as the notts future star Joe Renolyds goes through to the semi final of the Jackgordace cup, after he defeated the 2009 champion ,2x semi fianlist Sean Croft four frames to three, Pete Trout comments one of the best matches hes seen.

Joe takes the first three frames to go three nil up in a best of severn of the Jackgordace cup quarter - final match, it was just about all over for Sean Croft intill he puts up a tramendace fight back to level the match at 3-3 only to see Croft lose the match  on a self fault going in of the final black ball, awarding Joe Renoylds frame  and match and of course his well deserved victory 4-3.

Sean Croft wishes Joe Renoylds the very best and is proud of him.

Well certainly sounds like it was a good match.

Maybe a bitter pill to swallow in losing the way you did, theres no shame in losing to joe, as you , me and many others have said hes got the talent.

Joe I hope you keep practicing and don't get bored of the game because if you don't you will go far! The rate that you're improving is reminding me of Sean Hopkin so keep at it and you will be up there with the best of them.

Cheers James n Jordan, Theres always a wierd vibe about the  jackgordace cup, but in a good way some great players have conquered the cup over the past 30-40 years and there names have graced B.c.i's walls today and from many years ago, Wayne Martin &  Jason Bettrige use to scrap it out for this cup the year i was born  in 1991 and befor then and they have both shared the title many times between them long with many other older big names.
Although i cant enter again im just glad i'll be apart of the history in years to come.

Dont worry about that Joe you played awsome and i was happy to lose after how well i fought back, i dint know i had it in me, just remember though Joe never show emotion at the table because it almost cost you the match i know its hard i struggle.
keep it up mate your a great player and can only get better, i hope you get on  the board mate as your dad Darren is on the board and im sure to have his son up there to will make him very proud i wish you the best good luck Joe.
