I am pleased to announce that the £200 we raised in our Charity Box has been donated to Hayward House, a charity nominated by NBSA Singles League sponsors QualitySolicitors Yates & Co.

Dr England and Nurse Sarah Heawood with our cheque for £200

Hayward House, the 'hospice within the hospital' cares for patients with advancing cancer and motor neurone disease.

I took our cheque along to Hayward House earlier today and presented it to the wonderful Dr England and Nurse Sarah Heawood who would like to thank the Nottingham Snooker community for their kindness and generosity.

I have set a new Charity Box target of £100 and when this is reached I will make another donation to a worthy cause.

Really happy the spirit of the NHSL is being continued through the good work of the NBSA.

A big thanks to the snooker community for raising this money.

I am sure it will be put to great use and make a positive difference to someone which is all we can hope for.
