Hi All

Fairly low turnout compared to previous comps we had 12 runners! mainly due to the local derby v notts football match & two of our young stars in Joe Reynolds & Harry Farrell competing in a under 14s comp, on that note i hear that young Joe won 3 out of his 4 matches and topped his group so a big well done to Joe, not sure how Harry got on.

Was great to see some new faces it was a very tough school with 10 players being grade 1's Lee Spick polled up out the blue and most people had him down as hot favourite from the start, not sure how any others went on with him but he beat me in the final 3-0 i through the first two frames away from being in front and losing them both on the black.

Olde Bill Clarkes wish came true and found himself in the same group as he had hoped for as Young Upstarts Sean Hopkin & Troy Brett, Troy was disposed 2-0 while Sean just hung on to his coat tales and scraped a 1-1 draw  :P

I hope everyone had a good day and will come to the next comp i already have one booked in at jaxx q-club belper on the 28th october i will put the link to the comp under the relevant thread!
